Hello Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, Month: September 2021
Wow! Is it September already?? This year is flying by! We’ve had five churches vote to take us on for support this past month! We are excited to see what God is going to do in the month ahead.
As many of you know, hurricane Ida just hit down on the Gulf recently. We have several supporting churches in the direct path of the hurricane as well as my sister who still lives down in Southern Louisiana. We praise the Lord for keeping them safe during this storm. We have heard of some power outages, but no major damage. Please pray for all those who have been affected by the storm.
We had a wonderful time in Ohio and Pennsylvania this month. We stayed in an Ohio churches prophet’s chamber, and had the opportunity to get lunch with the pastor. He shared his testimony and how God has been working in his life, and he told us a wonderful lesson on how God not only gave them the property next door, but in the end they ended up getting paid more just having the property than they paid for it! We look forward to having stories just like that one when we get to Indonesia and all along the way!
We were in two missions conferences this past month, and during one of them I was given the opportunity to speak on the radio! It was the first time I’ve ever been live on the radio! I was really excited (and a little nervous to be honest), but it was a great time to share the gospel and encourage other Christians to share the gospel as well!
When we get to Indonesia we will be working with veteran missionaries Josh and Elizabeth Ewing. They are currently trying to get back into Indonesia, but because of COVID, they are having trouble getting Visas to return. Please pray that God would work things out that they are able to return to Indonesia quickly!
We thank you for you prayers and support! We hope and pray that God would bless you as you have blessed us! Would you continue to pray that God would keep us safe as we travel the roads on deputation, and that He would continue to bring us in contact with those whom we can be a blessing to? That He would continue to raise up young people who believe in missions? And to raise our support level so that we may reach Indonesia with the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
