Hello Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers, Month: October 2021
God is good all the time. It has been a wonderful month! Four churches voted to take us on for support this month. We are now right at 30% of our needed support! We are going to start putting money away for our set-up fund, I haven’t finished crunching the numbers yet, but it going to take a lot of saving! There’s plane tickets, house rental, furniture, at least one car, a car seat, after all we will have a baby just a couple months old at the time!
OOPS! I just let the cat out of the bag, didn’t I? Gina’s pregnant! Baby is due at the end of March 2022! We are so excited for our world to get a little Looney! (If it wasn’t Looney enough already, it most certainly is now!) Please pray for our growing family, especially for Gina as she travels around with me and now baby Looney.
We had a great time attending our home church’s missions conference this past month as well as a camp meeting in Greenwood SC. Unfortunately, somewhere in our travels Gina and I caught the Covid. We have finished quarantine for two weeks and have received negative results so we are back to the deputation trail. Gina still has a cough, struggles a bit with breathing, and easily gets tired. We went to an Urgent Care to get it checked out and the doctor said he it’s either bronchitis or pneumonia. She is now on antibiotics and an inhaler to control and correct things. Please pray for Gina and baby that they get well soon!
We thank you for you prayers and support! We hope and pray that God would bless you as you have blessed us! Would you continue to pray that God would keep us safe as we travel the roads on deputation, and that He would continue to bring us in contact with those whom we can be a blessing to? That He would continue to raise up young people who believe in Missions? And to raise our support level so that we may reach Indonesia with the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
With love in our hearts,
In service to The King,
Jens & Gina Looney
