A New Name Written Down in Glory
This last month has been full of excitement! Even with the events surrounding COVID-19 God has shown himself powerful and faithful through it all! During this quarantine, many churches were not booking missionaries, or outright not having services but many have begun to open back up and allow missionaries to come in and present our ministries to which God has called us. Would you continue to pray that God would not only supply the meetings to fill up our calendars, but also to supply the necessary funds to reach the field in a speedy fashion?
One quick story from this past month a must share with you! I was in Baton Rouge, LA. It was Sunday morning and I had not been able to book a meeting for this morning, but I had one for the evening, so I had decided to drop in a church nearby. I had planned on one church, but this morning I had felt as though God wanted me to go to a different church. I arrived early and noticed a young man setting by himself and, if you know me, you know I’ve never met a stranger before in my life so, I decided to talk with him. He was from downtown Baton Rouge and he was homeless. Someone had picked him up and given him a ride to church this morning, but they were busy with some of their responsibilities before the service began. After talking with him for a short while I asked him if he knew for sure if he died today that he would go to Heaven. I took him through the Bible showing him how that he and I were sinners and deserved to be separated from God for all eternity in the lake of fire. I showed him God’s love for us in that while we were yet sinners, He sent His only begotten Son to take away our sin and give us his righteousness if we would only believe on Him and I got to watch as God took a homeless man from downtown Baton Rouge and give him an eternal home in Heaven! God is still working! He is still saving! Praise His Wonderful Name!!
Over the past few weeks God has blessed me in that I have heard of three new supporters in the last month! God is So good to me! I love watching how He works, how He supplies for His work! I look forward to the day I get to watch Him do great things in the lives of Indonesians and with the lives of Indonesians!
Would you continue to pray for me, that God would guide me to the right churches, that He would guide my words and actions to be a blessing to all those I come in contact with as I travel, and that He would continue to speed my way on to Indonesia?
